Request of In-Kind Donations

To be eligible for a Grand Central in-kind donation, nonprofits must be locally based organizations benefitting our communities.  We accept donation requests through our online application process only. 

Since we are unable to support every school request, and determining which schools to sponsor is difficult, we have decided as a company not to sponsor school events i.e. sports, departmental and club fundraising events. Schools wishing to partner with Grand Central are encouraged to participate in our Dine-To-Give program held every September. See below for more information.

Given the large number of donation requests we receive daily, we regrettably cannot fulfill every request.  Please allow a minimum of 90 days for requests to be considered.

  • Grand Central can support requests for in-kind donations only.

  • All in-kind donation requests must be submitted online, and the online donation form must be filled out completely for your request to be considered.

  • While we try to help as often as possible, to better serve the entire community, organizations are eligible to receive a donation from Grand Central once in a 12-month period.

  • We cannot support religious, political or sectarian organizations, online auctions.

  • Though we congratulate your efforts, we are not able to support individuals or scholarship requests.

  • We do not accept unsolicited cash proposals or hard copy donation requests. We do not donate to online auctions.

 

 

September School Fundraiser Program

September 1 - 30. Only applicable Monday through Thursday.

During the month of September, Grand Central Bowl will partner with participating area schools to raise money for their organization by dining at Grand Central Bowl. Schools are encouraged to promote to the parents the opportunity to raise money for their child’s school by dining at Grand Central Bowl. When dining at Grand Central Bowl, 15% of guests’ check will be donated to the participating school Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Guests simply mention, to their server, the name of the participating school they wish their contribution to be given to and at the end of September Grand Central Bowl will tally up the sales and donate 15% of their tab to the schools PTA.

Area elementary, middle & high schools who would like to participate can sign up by emailing cegportland@gmail.com. Deadline for registering is August 24, 2022. ONLY the first 10 schools, per location, to RSVP will be eligible. Required is; PTO/PTA physical business address, main contact and copy of their 501(c)(3) documentation.
